Our History
Paton Agencies is owner run by Charles and Gayle Wallis, who pride themselves for their hands on approach towards their customers.
Paton Agencies was founded by Pat and Tony Philips in 1978 selling gas and welding supplies. The name PATON is the 2 co-founders names combined.
Charles and Gayle who both grew up on the South Coast chose this location to start a plant hire business in 2005.
Charles purchased Paton Agencies when it came on the market in 2008 to compliment the Plant Hire business.
After realizing the potential in Paton Agencies, Charles sold the Plant Hire Machinery and decided to concentrate and learn more about the Welding and Gas industry and in doing so has gained a wealth of knowledge in these fields.
